      一.學生看教材P.119 ,并完成下列小結

      (一)形容詞比較等級的含義 :形容詞有________,_________,_________,三個比較等級。

      1. 原級(原形)如:他的頭發(fā)很長。His hair is very ___________.

      2. 比較級:表示“較…” 或“更…些”。

      如:我的頭發(fā)比他的長。My hair is ________ ________his.

      3. 最高級:表示“最…”

      ( 二).形容詞比較級、最高級的構成規(guī)則

      單音節(jié)詞和部分雙音節(jié)詞的構成方法:

      1.一般在詞尾加_________或_______,

      如:small---smaller---smallest, long---_________--__________

      2.以字母_____結尾的詞加____或______,

      如:large-larger---largest, nice---__________ -____________

      3.以重讀閉音節(jié)結尾并且末尾只有一個輔音字母的應先__________,再加________ 或__________.

      4. 以輔音字母 + y結尾的,先變y為___,再加___或______.

      多音節(jié)詞和部分雙音節(jié)詞的構成方法:

      比較級:A +比較級 + than + B (A.B不能相互包括;A比B在某方面程度更高)

      如:貓比其他動物更可愛。 Cats are more lovely than other animals.

      最高級:A +the +最高級 +in/of(A在某方面程度最高 ,)

      注:A應在那個范圍內程度最高

      誤:Tom is the tallest of all his classmates.

      ※同級比較: A=B A + as + 原級 + as + B 表示A.B在某方面程度一樣。

      如:圣誕樹幾乎和房間一樣高

      The Christmas tree is as tall as the room.

      A不如 B A not as/so+原級+as + B 表示A在某方面不及B,此類句型可以改為比較級形式。

      如:他沒有我高。He is not as (so) tall as I/me.

      =He is shorter than I/me.

      這個男孩不如那個男孩細心。

      This boy is not as careful as that boy.

      =This boy is less careful than that one.

      =That boy is__________________________.

      二.比較結構中應注意的七個方面見教材P.120

      1.比較級與最高級可以轉化

      如:在中國,長江比其他任何河流都長。

      The Yangtze River is _______than any other river in China.

      = The Yangtze River is _____ ________ river in China.

      2.當某一事物與其他事物作比較時,被比較事物中不能包括本身。

      Eg1.他比班上其他學生高。

      He is _______ than any ________student in his class.

      Eg2.上海比湖北任何一個城市都大。

      Shanghai is __________ than ________ ________ city in Hubei.

      3.如果比較對象相同,可用 that/those 代替第二個對象。

      Eg1:重慶的天氣比上海的天氣要好。

      The weather in Chongqing is better than that in Shanghai.

      Eg2:第二冊的課文比第三冊的容易得多。

      The texts in Book2 is much easier than ________in Book3.

      4.兩個比較級用and 連接,表示“越來越…”

      (e.g) bigger and bigger 越來越大

      more and more beautiful 越來越美

      5.the + 比較級,the + 比較級,表示“越….越…..”

      越多越好。The more ,the better.

      你練得越多,做起來就變得越容易。The more you practice , the easier it becomes.

      6.表示“兩者較…..”時,用 “the + 形容詞比較級 + of 短語”來表達

      他是兩人中較高者。He is the taller of the two.

      7、形容詞的比較級可以用much , a little , a lot ,even ,three years, third, twice等修飾,使原來的比較級在語意上更加明確,

      vv如: 雞要比奶牛小得多。Chickens are much smaller than cows.

      我比你大點。I am a little older than you.

      8..one of + 最高級+單數(shù)名詞 表示“最…之一”

      9..序數(shù)詞+最高級+單數(shù)名詞 表示“第幾…”

      如:我是班上第三高的男生。I’m the third tallest boy in our class.

      10..最高級前面要加 the ,但最高級前有指示代詞,物主代詞或名詞所有格修飾時,其前不能再加the

      (e.g) 這是我最好的一本書。This is my best book.
