Task one: Revision(seeing a doctor)
(1) 問病：
What’s wrong(the matter) with you?
What’s your trouble?
How are you feeling today?
(2)說病
I have (catch)…
a (bad) cold(temperature) / the flu / a headache / a cough / a fever/ sore eyes / a sore throat / a toothache / a backache / a stomachache 等。
(3)看病
see a doctor
take the temperature
get an injection
take the medicine (pills) three times a day
(4)醫(yī)生建議：
drink more (boiled)water (fever)
stay in bed and have a good rest
You shouldn’t drink cold water./ eat hot food.
You’d better not work today.

Task three: 以小組討論的方式總結(jié)出本課的重點和難點,以小組為單位讓學(xué)生發(fā)言。然后教師進(jìn)行簡單歸納。
（1）sound terrible
“系動詞+adj.” 構(gòu)成系表結(jié)構(gòu)，這類動詞還有 look , seem , taste , feel , smell , turn , get , become等。
譯：1.他看起來很疲憊。 He looks very tired.
2.春天樹變綠了。 The trees turn green in spring.
（2） be + adj. + 介詞 + doing
常用有：be pleased with / be worried about / be afraid of / be bored with / be angry with(at) / be nervous about / be satisfied with / be strict with(about) 等。
1.李老師很擔(dān)心他的學(xué)生。 Mr. Li is worried about his students.
2. 他很高興通過了考試。 He is pleased with passing the exam.
（3）make + sb. / sth. + 賓補（可以是形容詞、名詞、省略to的不定式）
1.李老師讓我當(dāng)班長。 Mr. Li made me monitor.
2. 康康使那個嬰兒哭了。 Kang Kang makes the baby cry.
（4）How long have you felt like this?
= How long have you been like this? (For) Three days.
（5）with 伴隨性動作，表示名詞的特征。
我有一個三只腳的杯子。 I have a cup with three legs.
（6）Don’t be afraid! Be brave!
Task four: Listen to the tape again, then ask the Ss to act out the text.(pair work)

(1) Underline the expressions of reassurance. Suppose you are Michael’s friend. How will you reassure him?
