◆ Tom can play the guitar but he can’t play it very well.
well 副詞，意思是“很好地；較好地”，修飾動詞，在句中常常作狀語。其形容詞形式是good。
例如：他唱歌唱得很好。He sings well.
翻譯句子：你的作業做得相當好。
◆speak, say, tell 和 talk的用法：
1. speak側重開口說話，不側重說話的內容，一般用作不及物動詞；當用作“說某種語言”時，要用speak+語言。
If you can’t speak English, please don’t speak. 如果你不會說英語，就不要說話。
2. say強調說話的內容，多用作及物動詞，后面跟說話的內容。
---What does he say? 他說什么？
---He says he wants to join the music club. 他說他要加入音樂俱樂部。
3. tell意思是“告訴（某人某事）；講述…”。
tell a story of Cheng’e 講嫦娥的故事 tell a lie 說謊
當表示“告訴某人某事”時，tell后面須跟雙賓語。
Don’t tell him this thing. 不要告訴他這件事。
4. talk側重“談話；交談”，主語一般是兩個人以上。常用短語：talk about…談論關于…的事，talk with sb. 和某人交談。
