一、This is ... speaking. 我是......
【考點說明】該句型為打/接電話者自我介紹用語，This代表I，但不可換成I，speaking可以省去。如：
This is Li Ping (speaking). 我是李平。
【知識串聯】在打/接電話中，詢問對方是誰時，常用"Who is that (speaking)?或Is that ... (speaking)?"，其中that不可以換成you, speaking可以省略。如：
This is Tom speaking. Who is that (speaking)? 我是湯姆，你是誰？
Is that Jane (speaking)? 你是簡嗎？
二、a visit to ... 到......的一次參觀；對......的一次拜訪
【考點說明】句中visit為名詞， to為介詞。如：
Please write about a visit to a school. 請描寫到學校的一次參觀活動。
This was a visit to the zoo. 這是一次到動物園的參觀活動。
It was a visit to a famous scientist. 這是對著名科學家的一次拜訪。
【知識串聯】 pay a visit to ... 參觀某地，拜訪某人。如：
We'll pay a visit to the farm. 我們將參觀這家農場。
Will you pay a visit to your teacher tomorrow? 明天你會看望你的老師嗎？
三、Why not do ...?為什么不......？
【考點說明】Why not問句表示建議，即提議某人去做某事。如：
Why not go there with me? 為什么不跟我們一起去呢？
Why not come more often? 干嘛不經常來這里呢?
Why not go there and have a look?為何不去那兒看看？
【知識串聯】Why do ...?為什么要做某事？表示疑問或持異議。如：
Why go there alone?為什么要單獨去那兒呢？
Why stay here since it is too hot at present? 既然現在太熱，為什么還要呆在這兒呢？
